About Misha Nonoo

Misha Nonoo’s vision has always been to design collections with a timeless allure that encompass a couture sensibility for everyday life. Her eyes have been trained by a life of rich cultural experiences which she has woven together to create a truly innovative design vision.

Growing up in Bahrain, Misha was exposed to a world of vibrant colors, where trips to the Arabian souks were routine. As a teenager, Misha moved to London and became fascinated with classic bespoke tailoring and while in Paris learned the importance of luxe fabrics and subtle distinguishable details. In 2010, Misha brought all of these experiences together and launched her eponymous collection, Nonoo, in New York City’s Garment District.

Nonoo encompasses traditional Savile Row tailoring with European couture sewing techniques, made in Manhattan at accessible price points. The brand has created a vast celebrity following that includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Blake Lively and Pippa Middleton, among others, and Misha has been named one of the top new designers to watch by publications such as W, Elle and T Magazine, the New York Times style magazine. Most recently, in 2012, Misha was awarded the Rising Star Award for Women’s Ready-to-Wear by Fashion Group International.
