Born in Bahrain, raised in London and trained in Paris, Misha's cultural heritage has inspired a whimsical spirit with refined elegance. This season Nonoo references the nostalgic glamour and decadence of iconic destinations along the Italian Riviera. Inspired by the effortless chic of Marella Agnelli & Contessa Crespi, Nonoo offers an unrivaled glimpse into the enchanting attire one would possess for a delightful journey through Italy's most cinematic coast, bringing to mind the sweeping romanticism and noble characters portrayed in Visconti's legendary films. These emotional connections to the past, gave way to a tireless pursuit of atmosphere and lavish beauty. Encouraged by the subtle elegance of the historic Hotel II Pellicano, Misha was inspired by the bold and muted contrast within the surrounding landscape. Known for her precise tailoring, Nonoo's signature silhouettes are crafted in luxurious silks and hammered satins, lightweight tropical wools, lush jerseys and crisp cottons. A pallet of fennel white, ink stone, sand and geranium red reflects the changing hues of botanical gardens drenched in the coastline sunsets. A long time advocate of the statement jacket, Nonoo offers modern women an opportunity to collect finely tailored shapes in refined fabrics with unique detail, clearly accentuating quality over trend.

Nonoo is embarking on a new chapter, by creating the very first full capsule collection. The Fall/Winter 2011 collection finds its inspiration in designer Misha Nonoo’s home country, England and is inspired by heritage and aristocracy. The designer continues to accentuate her signature silhouettes and tailoring, whilst using noble European fabrics. This full collection extends to dresses, trousers and blouses, crafted from cashmere, wools, silks and French laces. The collection has been shot amidst the stunning backdrop of one of West Sussex’s most important homes, and amidst the countryside that inspired these shapes and styles. Raised in Bahrain and then London, Misha imbues the house with her inimitable sense of style and luxury, collected from childhood visits to the vibrant and colourful Arabian souks, then the cutting edge streets of Cool Britannia and enhanced by her time spent working for fashion houses in the epicenter of style, structure and effortless elegance, Paris. Misha has always been an advocate for the importance of a tailored outfit, and the essential role it plays in accentuating every lady’s look, whether in an utterly casual or formal setting.
